Katherine Bear Tur, born on the 26th of October, 1983 in America is a journalist on the broadcast and an author who works as the correspondent for NBC News. Tur anchors MSNBC Reports. From 2021, she hosts Katy Tur Reports. She also anchors for NBC News channels Early Today, Today and NBC Nightly News.



 



 Early life



 Tur is the daughter of journalists Zoey Tur and Marika Gerrard. She graduated from Brentwood School (2001), and also from the University of California, Santa Barbara (2005) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in philosophy. She's of Jewish descendance.
